Ezra Palmer
I am the author of the novels Catbirds and Handsome, nontraditional narratives that reviewers have called “hypnotic,” “mesmerizing,” and “profound.”I have worked as a writer and editor at newspapers, magazines, research publishers and other outlets. While at The Wall Street Journal I was among the first traditional journalists to develop news products for the internet.I grew up in Brooklyn and I've lived more than half of my life there, on and off. I've also lived in Vermont, Connecticut, Spain, France and California. I currently reside in Los Angeles. In addition to my work as a novelist, I am the co-creator and co-host of Pub Crawl, a lighthearted podcast about books, writing, and publishing.

—BookLife“The tangle of language conveys how grief works, how our minds work when we're trying to make sense of loss.”
